Our Venue:

Here it is! Ain't it purty? :) It's right on the harbour, looking out onto a lighthouse and 400+ beautiful boats. We have the whole top floor. EXCITED!!!!

Linens:

So, we have ivory demask chair covers, plain ivory table cloth, hunter green napkins, and lighter green (that looks gold in the picture) draping on the head table.

Meh. Not my top choice, but I don't really care. it was all included with our venue. 

(Ignore that weird line. It's my dumb computer/phone)

UPDATE: These were GOING to be our linens, until about month before the wedding, when we had a meeting with the venue. We saw the hall all set up with black chair covers, black swirl napkins, and ivory tablecloths. It was gorgeous, and we changed our minds right away. We still are having the head table draped in green and ivory, though!

We had our tasting, and I was worried about the food not being good. Thank GOD, the food was FANTASTIC!! Here are our choices:

COCKTAIL HOUR:

Host Bar Service

TO START WITH:Freshly baked European Rolls & Bruschetta
Antipasto Classico w/ European Deli Meats, Bocconcini, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Marinated seafood with mussels or
Grilled Polenta with Gorgonzola, caramelized onions, slivered pears, charred tomatoes and pesto cream

PASTA OR RISOTTO SELECTIONS:Penne a la Vodka w/ Sweet Peas, Prosciutto


ENTRÉE SELECTION: Maple-Glazed Pork Tenderloin w/ pomery jus or
All Entrees Served w/Chef's complementing choice of Roasted Rosemary Potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables
Bowls of Mixed Green Salad to tables

SECOND ENTRÉE SELECTION (French or Platter):Prosciutto & Reggiono Stuffed Chicken Supreme

Cupcakes!!

So we decided to do cupcakes because:
1) We like cupcakes better than cake. Better icing to cake ratio. 
2) They were more affordable than a cake!

We're having mini cupcakes in 3 flavours: Vanilla, Red Velvet, and Banana Butterscotch.

Plus, we're having them set up on/ around a pretty cupcake stand (the one there <--, with those nice scalloped edges).
